Vad betyder olika begrepp?


Inom standariseringen används många olika begrepp. Några som kan nämnas är:


Formal vote Circulation by the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre of the final text of a prEN (FprEN) in the three language versions to CEN national members for approval through weighted voting.
Ratification Point at which the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre registers the standard as an adopted standard in the CEN System following a positive vote and the production of the voting report
Work item

Subject with a specific title and scope to be worked out by a Technical Committee within agreed target dates and leading to a CEN publication, or a series of interrelated tasks implemented within the constraints of time, cost and quality for the purposes of achieving a specific measurable objective
Technical Committee (TC)

the group of experts responsible for the development of standards in specific sectors, either in the form of a full Technical Committee or a streamlined Project Committee to deal with a single project. Participants in Technical Committees are concentrated in national delegations.

Working Groups (WGs) The drafting of the standards themselves is done in Working Groups (WGs) under a Technical Committee. The Working Groups are comprised of experts in the specific product or service being standardized.
